Niels Holst

NH Bio Niels Holst leads our Corporate Finance and Advisory business.

He has over 11 years of strategic advisory experience across the power and utilities sectors, with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, private equity fundraising for projects, funds and companies (private placements) as well as public equity market fundraising (initial public offerings).

Niels began his advisory career in Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Bank in London. Through his time at Citigroup, Niels established a strong track record as leader of the alternative energy advisory business in Europe where he executed a number of the sector’s transformative deals. Prior to this Niels gained extensive experience in the Asian power industry, leading sector coverage and execution out of Hong Kong.

He has successfully executed transactions in Europe, Asia and North America.

Niels earned a Master of Business Administration in 2000, from the NYU Stern School of Business
